Heart Practice

This is a particular form of meditation. Heart Practice helps to shift identification away from the limited mind towards the infinite ocean of being that can be accessed very simply and directly through the spiritual heart centre. The heart centre should not be confused with the physical heart or the mind and its emotions. Through Heart Practice we come to know and experience a steady state of being.

Heart Practice is the incorporation of Heart Meditations into your daily life as a practice and this can be as simple as using 3 easy steps to connect, whenever you feel dis-connected in your daily life. There are many forms of Heart Meditation and together they make up the Heart Practice. With regular daily practice, integrating mental activity with spiritual learning, you can begin to use any of the Heart Meditations to strengthen your own inner connection with the universe.

When we begin to realise that we need a regular daily practice to help us integrate mental activity with spiritual yearning – we can begin to use Heart Meditations to strengthen our own inner connection with Oneness, with the Source of All, the Beloved – until that becomes our Home, the place we live – Abiding in the Heart.

As the foundation of all our practices and our way of being, the Heart Practice helps us to shift identification away from, and to transcend the limited mind towards the infinite ocean of being that can be accessed very simply and directly through the spiritual heart centre. The heart centre should not be confused with the physical heart or the mind and its emotions. Through the Heart Practice we come to know and experience a steady state of being, the infinite ocean of consciousness. When we make the Heart Practice the foundation of all we do and all we are, the result is inevitable.

By beginning our meditation by focusing in the Heart Centre, when consciousness naturally starts to rise, it is able to rise through the correct channels, the right Nadis which lead it naturally upwards towards the crown chakra and eventually to liberation.

SANTOSHI
HEART MEDITATION FACILITATOR

Santoshi is a beloved member of our sangha living in Abruzzo, Italy. She generously serves as one of our trustees, is an amazing lawyer serving in the field of social housing, as well as a heart meditation facilitator and mindfulness coach. She is also on the teaching team for our upcoming Heart of Menopause course. Santoshi is currently training to become a Heart of L:iving Yoga minister.

Santoshi offers mindful coaching and meditation with an emphasis on helping busy professionals find balance in life. She tells, based in her own experience, that our lives are transformed when we get out of the mindset of working long hours to the our own detriment and find the balance to be able to spend time doing more of what you love. What a gift to ourselves and all those around you to make time for contentment and joy. The way things are currently done does not have to be the way we do things. She notes that finding balance in our lives actually makes us MORE effective, efficient and productive because we’re doing more of the things we love. Santoshi has previously provided weekly heart meditation sessions for a large law firm, to all levels, and they found it helped their work and personal lives. It also gave them permission to spend time on themselves.
